Papers should present original results
relevant to the conference topics.

Participation in
Young Investigator Award competition
Authors not older than 35 years at the time of the Conference can participate in the Young
Investigator Award (YIA) competition. Submitted papers and their
presentation will be evaluated by an international jury. Authors of
the best oral and poster presentations will be invited to submit an in extenso
paper to the
Measurement Science Review on-line journal. Winners of the competition will be awarded by a
prize offered by the conference organizers and sponsors.

Paper format

Papers should be prepared and
uploaded in camera-ready form as a Microsoft Word .doc or .docx file. Detailed information for authors is in
file
M2019_Paper_template.dotx
that can be downloaded from the conference web page. This document contains all necessary styles for paper formatting
and may be directly used as a paper template.

Optionally the papers can be prepared in LaTeX, the necessary support
can be downloaded as file
M2019_Paper_template_LaTeX.zip.
Submissions in LaTeX including all source files and generated
pdf output should be uploaded as single .zip file.

Maximal size of the uploaded (.doc,
.docx or .zip) file is 5 MB.

Length of the paper should not exceed 4 pages,
papers of keynote speakers may
have up to 10 pages.

Paper submission and
evaluation
-
Only registered conference
participants can submit a paper. Use the
Registration item in the left hand menu
to register for the conference.

Each registered author may submit one or two papers.
Deadline for
paper submission
is March 15, 2019.

Conference proceedings will be distributed to conference
participants at the time of the
conference.

Use following link to upload your
paper. After uploading the paper you can select preferred topic and type of
presentation for your paper. You can also register your paper for
YIA competition.

Your email address is your login name, your password was sent to you by email during the registration.

Each paper will be peer reviewed by
2 or 3 reviewers from the
International
Program Committee and other invited specialists in the field. Based on the reviews, organizers reserve the right to accept or reject each submitted paper.
The authors will be informed about acceptation, required corrections or rejection of their papers until
April
12, 2019.

If
corrections of the paper are suggested by the reviewers, updated version of
the paper should be uploaded in the same way as the original
submission by
April 29, 2019. Latest updated version on the server
will be considered for inclusion in the proceedings.

Only
papers of registered participants who paid the conference fee until
May 6, 2019 will be included in the proceedings.

Preparation of oral presentations

All
oral presentations have to be in English, there will be no
translation.

For
each oral contribution 10 minutes for presentation
and 5 minutes for discussion will be allowed. Chairmen will be asked to strictly
follow the time schedule.

Oral contributions should be prepared as Microsoft
PowerPoint presentations. Presentation format (aspect ratio)
should be 4:3.
-
Presenting author should bring their presentation on CD, USB disk or
USB flash drive at least 30 minutes before the session
to the technical staff in the Conference secretariat room or
in the lecture room.

Use of own
computer for presentation will be allowed only if unavoidable
and should be negotiated and tested with the technical
personnel in advance.

Preparation of posters
-
The posters can be 84 cm wide and 119 cm high as a maximum.
Posters on single sheet of paper are preferred. Pins for
fastening the posters will be provided.

For each poster exact position will be allocated using
the number of the poster in the conference program.

All posters have to be in English.
-
Time for discussion with authors at the posters will be
allocated within the conference program.
-
For YIA posters, please, be
ready to introduce your research and results within 5
minutes during the guided poster presentation.
