  Accompanying persons: Trip to Driny cave (car or walk)

Cave with fissure corridors decorated with rich sinter fillings. The cave was discovered in 1930, current show track is 410 m long. Eleven species of bat live in the cave.

All participants: alternative guided excursions to

a)  Trip to castle Červený Kameň (Red Stone) (bus, max. 45 persons)

Visit of a near-by castle with a rich and valuable collections, well-known also for its huge cellars that were used also in a Hollywood movie.  

b)  Visit to Nuclear Power Plant Jaslovske Bohunice (bus, max. 15 persons)

Participants can visit selected rooms and areas of the plant. Registration with obligatory personal data is necessary at the registration desk until Wednesday 13:30. Passport or other ID is necessary to enter the plant.

c)  Hiking tour to Little Carpathians (walk)

Participants will experience beautiful views of the country from the top of Záruby (767 m), highest hill of Little Carpathians. (Only at a good weather).

Participants will enjoy one part of this protected landscape area (since 1976) with extensive vineyards, rare plants and birds.

Molpir nearby the castle is known for the remains of the fortified Celtic settlement from the Hallstat period. Among others, archaeologists have uncovered evidences of cannibalism there.

Barbeque with folk music (Cervenik group)

The event will take place in the castle courtyard (in the main dining room in case of bad weather). The group plays local folk songs, songs from middle and eastern Slovakia, Moravia and Silesia, as well as religious and popular music.
