Visit of the Modra pottery manufactory (by mini bus)

Slovak folk majolica is maintaining the continuity of unique manual ceramic production. Their products are hand-turned on an electric potter’s wheel and then hand-shaped.

a)  Visit of the nearby historical town of Trnava (by bus)

Trnava is the seventh largest town in the Slovak Republic with a population of almost 70 000, lying in the south-west corner of the country.

b)  Hiking tour to the Little Carpathians (minbus, walk, touristic outfit desirable)

Participants will experience beautiful views of the country from the top of Veľká Homola (709 m) hill in the Little Carpathians.

Wine tasting in the castle chapel. Several sorts of white and red wines, mainly  from the Little Carpahian area will be offered for tasting.

Castle park and Molpir

Molpir nearby the castle is known for the remains of the fortified Celtic settlement from the Hallstat period. Among others, archaeologists have uncovered evidences of cannibalism there.

Visit of the Driny cave.

Cave with fissure corridors decorated with rich sinter fillings. The cave was discovered in 1930, current show track is 410 m long. Eleven species of bat live in the cave.
